We help children develop Physical Literacy.
The PowerEd team is passionate about helping children establish an active lifestyle and empowering them to improve performance in sports, games and school, boost their confidence and enjoy themselves more.
We do this by developing Physical Literacy through our training sessions that focus on teaching Fundamental Movement Skills.
Fundamental Movement Skills are very important to a child's physical development. When confident and competent in these skills, children can develop sport-specific and complex movement skills.
Our program has been specifically developed for primary school children (5-14 years) by our expert physiotherapist & biokineticist team (Terri Kalis & Aimee Barrett-Theron).
Fun is key! We use team activities and games to help embed the skills and after each lesson parents are sent information about the skill that was learnt and ideas on how to practice at home.
