De Waal Park

This is another lovely walk suitable for younger children and dogs (on leads). We enjoyed exploring a part of Cape Town where we wouldn’t normally walk. Interesting things to see are the Victorian fountain which was installed in 1898 and and the Molteno Reservoir which was constructed in 1877 and remains an important storage reservoir today.

Area: Gardens Time/Distance: 1hour/2km
